Start the release file the same day
Record the auction branch, lot or stock reference, VIN, buyer account reference, release contact, vehicle condition, key status, and any available pickup deadline. These are the facts a transport coordinator needs before a truck can be assigned.
Separate ready units from exceptions
A title delay, missing key, non-running status, or unclear receiving contact should not be hidden inside a general vehicle list. Mark it as an exception so it can be handled deliberately rather than discovered at the gate.
Make the delivery handoff executable
The destination needs a real contact, receiving hours, entry instructions, and room for the vehicle. Pickup readiness alone does not complete the lane.
